Fircrest

Fircrest is community east of I205.  The majority of the homes were built in the 1970’s in several subdivisions with most of them being single family homes, and a few apartments in the more urban parts. Bordered on the south by Mill Plain Boulevard, the neighborhood  businesses such as restaurants, shops and hotels thrive.  Along the western border is a popular urban farm, Joe’s Place Farm, that offers a variety of produce and crops throughout the year. To the north is 18th St, a main arterial road that runs East and West, and has an on and off ramp from I205.

Within the area there are churches, an ambulance service, fire station and the Firstenburg Community Center and Cascade Park Public Library.

Fircrest has many parks and open spaces – it’s home to Haagen Community Park, Fircrest Neighborhood Park, the Starke Natural Area, and Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Fircrest Elementary School is also in the heart of the community, making it convenient for families with school-age children.

Fircrest is a great place to find a more affordable home, starter home, or ranch (one-level) style home.
